Caleb Lee Morrison

Caleb L. Morrison was born on March 9, 1960 in Lancaster County, SC to the late Rev. Robert Allen and Esterlene Morrison. On October 19th, 2024 his mansion was ready and he quietly entered into heaven's gate. His address changed from Morrison Road to Heaven's Blvd.

He received his education in the Lancaster County School System and graduated #3 in his class from Indian Land High School where he also played baseball and basketball. He went on to continue his education at USC-Lancaster then transferred to USC-Columbia graduating in 3 years with a bachelor's degree in finance under the business department.

Caleb was employed at USC-Lancaster for 35 years as the Director of Purchasing and Assistant Business Manager until his retirement on September 10, 2024.

Caleb, better known at “Lee” accepted Christ at an early age and joined Steele Hill AME Zion Church. He was an amazing and devoted God father, brother, uncle, co-worker and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, watching sports and Westerns. His favorite being “Rawhide”.

He was the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions throughout his life. A few being the Applied Professional Sciences & BADM Award and also appreciation for his loyal and dedicated service both from USC-Lancaster.

Caleb joins his parents, Rev. Robert Allen and Esterlene Morrison, one sister-in-law Vestrula Morrison and three nephews at heaven's gate.

He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories; six brothers, Robert Morrison Jr, Willie T. Morrison, Mozell Morrison (Gloria), Ray Morrison (Sandra) all of Lancaster, SC, Sam Morrison (Nadine) of Rock Hill, SC, Lester Morrison (Margretta) of Mineral Springs, NC; Three sisters Mae Barber (Nathaniel), Margaret McIlwain (Clarence) and Queenetta Adams (Jerry) all of Lancaster, SC; two God Children, Candace Adams and Jeremy Adams of Lancaster, SC; Two Aunts, Frances Morrison of Lancaster, SC and Julia Morrison of Philadelphia, PA. Three brothers--in-law, four sister-in-law, sixteen nieces and nephews, thirteen great nieces and nephews; many cousins, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Steele Hill A.M.E. Zion Church or USC-Lancaster in his memory.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 25, 2024 at 1 PM at Steele Hill AME Zion Church by Reverend Jerret Fite, Pastor with burial in the Church Cemetery.

Viewing will be Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 3pm-7 pm at McMullen Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
