Service will be Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Porter & Sons' Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Saron Cemetery in Durant, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Porter & Sons' Funeral Home.

Some years ago I would send Roy a Christmas card every year. He would always respond by calling me very early on Christmas morning. We would talk and talk about some of everything.
