The funeral services for the late Ms. Carolyn Johnson, who departed this life on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Worth Community Center in Sylvester, Georgia. Ms. Carolyn Johnson, affectionately known as “Beyonce”, was born on January 13, 1958, to the late Mr. and Mrs. George and Mary Hunter.
Carolyn was educated in the Worth County Public School System and graduated from Worth County High School in 1977. After high school, Carolyn furthered her education by attending Albany Technical College and graduated with two degrees: Pharmacy Technician and Sterile Centralization. She started her career at Seabrooks and continued working at Bold Chemicals, Prestolite Wire, and finished her career at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where unfortunately her health started failing her, causing her work career to end. During her career path she met a host of new friends that she held dear to her.
Carolyn was a member of New Beginning Church of God By Faith under Leadership of Elder Ulysses Teague.
Our dear mother Carolyn Johnson sadly passed away on October 15, 2024, surrounded by Love. Carolyn’s work of spreading unconditional love and joy to all she encountered came to end at Wilson Hospice Home. God came and carried a beautiful angel away to her forever home. Though our hearts were not ready. Her work here was done. Her love, grace and precious memories will forever be cherished and missed by her loving family and friends. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Mary Hunter and Mr. George Hunter, a grandmother/mom, Rosie Mae Johnson, and sister, Marcella Johnson.
Carolyn Leave to cherish her memories her children, Kimberly (Leon) Johnson, Kovoski Brown, and Kamoski (Sara) Johnson; her grandchildren, Mykavious, Kentari, Zakarie, Bryce, Kynnedi; her great grandchildren, Malaysia and Jace; her siblings, Marilyn Napier, Larry Johnson, Rosemary Hunter; her nieces and nephews, Lacreshia (Daughter), Lindsey (Jennifer), Lynstancia, and Matthew; her bonus daughter and granddaughter, Sha ‘Terica and Arianna; her aunt, Earleen (LadyBug); her special family, Gloria Crawford, Patrishia Hamilton, Doris Bell, Catherine Jackson; and a host of family members and friends that she loved and held dear to her heart.
