Obituary For Mrs. Dorothy Dunn Boykins

Mrs. Dorothy Dunn Boykins of Port St. Joe, Florida, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 29th at Ascension Bay Sacred Heart Hospital at the age of 71.

She leaves a lifetime of love and treasured memories with her loving husband of 53 years, Robert Boykins, II; three daughters, Sharon Boykins, Dyshanda Boykins both of Port St. Joe, Florida and Sheila (Mark) Battle of Alabama; two grandchildren, Jaylah Montgomery and Robert L. Battle Boykins of Alabama; brothers, Jewell Dunn, Lorenzo Dunn both of Port St. Joe, Florida and Willie Lee Dunn of Kentucky; in-laws, Rose (William) Davis of Tampa, Florida, Barbara Russ of West Palm Beach, Florida, Jeanette McGee of Clearwater, Florida, Dorothy (Lawrence) Govan of Virginia, W. Earl Boykins of Wewahitchka, Florida and John Calvin Boykins of Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16th at New Beginning Assembly of the Saints in Panama City from 3-5:30pm. A Homegoing Celebration will be Thursday, October 17th at 11am at High Praise Church in Panama City with Apostle Robert Gay, Pastor Joshua Gay, Pastor Lawrence Govan and Pastor Dorothy Govan officiating. Interment will follow in the Redwood Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Battle Mortuary of Panama City, FL
