“It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Halo Griffin, who left this world shortly after taking her first breath. Though her time with us was heartbreakingly brief, the light and love she brought into our lives are immeasurable.
She will forever be remembered as a precious gift who touched our hearts in ways words cannot describe. Halo's presence, though fleeting, reminded us of life’s fragility and its immeasurable beauty. Her short time here was filled with love, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had hoped to know her.
Though she did not have the chance to grow, her spirit will always be a guiding light for us. Her family, with hearts full of love, will always cherish the brief but meaningful moments shared with Halo.
Halo is survived by her loving parents, Whitney Griffin and Micah Washington; her three brothers, Nehemiah McCall, Noah McCall, and Bentley McCall; her adoring grandparents; and a host of aunts, uncles, and extended family members who will carry her memory with them always. Her memory will forever live on in their hearts and the hearts of all who awaited her arrival with joy and anticipation.
Rest in peace, sweet Halo. You are our angel, now and always.”
