Justin Darnell Hylton was born October 13, 1980, to Dennis J. Hylton and the late Marilyn Wilson Hylton in Eden, NC. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on October 3, 2024. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Deacon Lorenzo Wilson, Sr. and Mrs. Marion Moyer Wilson. Justin graduated from Morehead High School in 1999. He worked for Loparex in Eden for many years before becoming employed by Press Glass in Ridgeway, VA.

Justin grew up attending Morning Star Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.

He was a born competitor. From a very young age, his unwavering confidence often led him to declare victory before the contest even began. Justin was a passionate fisherman. He had been casting a line since he was around six years old. He loved sharing tales of his fishing adventures, particularly when he landed a 6 Β½ pound large-mouth bass. He remained active in sports after high school, playing basketball and bowling competitively. He was also a dedicated fan of the Washington Commanders.

Justin was loved and adored by many. He never met a stranger and always left a lasting impression with his magnetic personality and wit. He enjoyed listening to music and had a great time wherever he was. Above all, he loved being with his family.

His precious memories will be cherished by his loving father; Dennis J. Hylton of the home, dear brother; Derreck Hylton of Richmond, VA; precious daughter; Ava Hylton of Advance, NC; loving grandmother; Thelma Hylton of Eden, NC; host of aunts and uncles; many close-knit cousins who loved him immensely, along with other relatives and friends.

It was indeed a pleasure working with this young man. He was one of the top Operators at Loparex. He was confident about his work ethics. My heart became heavy when I learned of his illness. But one thing is for sure he doesn't have to worry anymore. He can rest easy from the sickness and troubles of this ole world. God has YOU in his arms.
