Obituary For Mr. Clarence Edward Holt, Jr.

Mr. Clarence Edward Holt, Jr. was born to the late Mrs. Gladys Cunningham Holt and the late Mr. Clarence Edward Holt, Sr. on October 12, l950, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia.

He was educated in the public schools of Thomaston and Upson County and attended Thomaston Training School.

Clarence stared driving trucks at the age of 18 and continued driving until his health started to decline.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Bobbie Walker, Patricia Ann Childs, Ruthell Traylor and Betty Allen all of Thomaston, GA and one son, Terrell Holt of Tempe, Arizona.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Mrs. Tracey Holt Gomez of Atlanta, GA and Amber (Angel) Serna of Tempe, Arizona; three sons, Mr. Mark Grantling and Mr. Cornelius Grantling both of Thomaston, GA and Mr. Edward (David) Holt of Tempe, Arizona. A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive; one brother, Deacon Terry Lee (Cassandra) Holt of Thomaston, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
