Mary E. Smith of Eatonton, Georgia departed this life Friday, September 27, 2024 at Eatonton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Eatonton, Georgia.

Mrs. Smith was born August 3, 1941 in Putnam County, Georgia to Eugene Smith and Lizzie Mae Farley.

Her memories will be cherished by her son, Joshua Smith; granddaughter, Kachena Boyd (Derrick); other relatives and friends.

A visiting hours are planned for Friday, October 4, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at The Eatonton Chapel of Bernard's Family Funeral Care, LLC. Her burial service will be Saturday morning, October 5, 2024 in Eastside Eatonton Cemetery at 11:00 AM.

Ms.Mary was one of God's sweetest angels. She always had kind words to say. She will truly be missed sitting on her porch waving and asking how you doing? I know she is smiling with her wings of glory. She will be missed but never forgotten.
