Obituary For Mr. Robert Lynn "Big Bootsy" Brown

Robert Lynn Brown “Big Bootsy” of Blytheville, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Great River Medical Center at the age of 61. Robert was born February 17, 1963, in Osceola, Arkansas to Robert L. Brown and Joyce Cooper. He was of the Baptist faith joining 1st Missionary Baptist Church when he was a child and was a graduate of Blytheville High School Class of 1981.

Robert is survived by his mother Mrs. Joyce Cooper Alfred of the home, his father, Robert L. (Betty) Brown of Olivette, Missouri; one son Robert (Brandi) Brown, III of Lancaster, Texas; Adrian Brown of Hawthorne, California, and Christopher L. Brown of St. Louis, Missouri; four sisters, Valinda Bailey of Aurora, Colorado, Tonya Taylor of Lancaster, Texas, Valencia Hunter of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and Veronica D. Brown of San Bernadino, California; four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:00 until 11:00 at 1st Missionary Baptist Church, 600 East McHaney Street, Blytheville, Arkansas where Reverend Odale Jones is the pastor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 on October 5, 2024. Reverend Jones will deliver the eulogy with interment to follow at Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville.
