Dorothy Elaine Norwood, age 75 passed away at The Myrtles in Columbia, MS on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Born on October 2nd 1948 in Brookhaven, MS ti the late R.C. Scott and Lela Mae McKnight-Lewis.
She spent her early childhood in Brookhaven, MS. Later, at the age of 12, she and her family moved to Columbia where she attended John J.
Jefferson High School.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: R. C.
Scott and Lela Mae Mcknight- Lewis; husband Amos C. Norwood, Brothers: Ernest O'Neal Scott, Luther James Jackson, and Prince Lewis. Sisters: Brenda L. Williams and Lydia (Stanley) D. Galloway, Merlia Foster. Two nieces: Elaine(Johnnie) Pittman, Karie Magee. Nephews: Darrium Williams, and Myron Williams. A number of family, friends, and church members. She will be truly missed.
