Spouse: The late Collis Doe

Christian Experience: She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, and she served as the mother of the church.

Demised: Sunday, September 15 and Pruitt Health Heritage House

Ms. Doe was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son James L. Doe, great grandson Wesley White Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son Raymond (Barbara) Doe; two daughters: Francine Miller and Kathy Hughley (Anthony Bell) all of Hahira, Ga.; nine grandchildren: Kierra Miller, Tobiaus (Felicia) Doe, Tomeica Edmonds, Travis Edmonds, Tenike Doe, Tamar Doe, Tanyeka Doe, Terannce (Vanessa) Doe, and Nicole Jackson, twenty โ€“one great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Pruitt Hospice, Mrs. Brenda Myrick, Deacon and Sister Richard Uddyback, Sandra James and Mt. Olive Church family. Also, a very sweet cousin Gladys Moore, and a good friend Sister Gladys Jones

Home going service for Mother Lela Mae Doe will be held on Friday, September 20 at 11:00 A. M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Rev Edwards is the pastor and will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
