Obituary For Charles Aaron Cardwell

Charles Aaron Cardwell, 72 of Winston Salem, NC passed Sunday, September 8, 2024. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Pine Hall Baptist Church, 1416 Pole Bridge Rd., Pine Hall, NC with the service beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

It is with a heavy heart that I heard of the passing of Charles. I can recall Charles greeting me with many smiles and a good joke here and there as I spent many days at his home growing up. I never felt out of place or unwelcome. I think that He and his late wife Juanita went out of their way to make sure that I always felt welcome and a part of the family. Unfortunately families like this have become an endangered breed, but I am eternally grateful to have had the chance to know and love them both. Rest Well Charles for you have run your race, finished your course, and kept the faith. Therefore, there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness which The Lord Jesus shall give to you Himself!
