Ms. Shelia Denise Littlejohn, 61, of High Point, NC, departed from this life on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Atrium Health. She was born April 20, 1963, in High Point, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Jesse Littlejohn and Betty Jean Littlejohn.

Shelia graduated from High Point Central High School, class of 1981, and pursued her education at Winston-Salem State University and Shaw University. She was a dedicated and hardworking employee at Walmart until her health began to decline.

Shelia had a heart full of love and a passion for helping others; she loved to cook and enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Her calm demeanor and compassionate nature extended beyond her immediate family as she embraced the role of becoming a "bonus mother" to all who knew and loved her.

Shelia was preceded in death by her parents: one daughter, Latisha Littlejohn, and one brother, Jesse (Fella) Littlejohn Jr. Three paternal aunts: Sarah Sue Jefferies, Tena Crawford, and Lucille Crawford. Three maternal aunts, Alfreda Medley, Nannie Caple, and Mary Hopkins.

Surviving to cherish her memory: three daughters, Ashley Littlejohn, Bianca Littlejohn and Michelle Littlejohn all of High Point, NC; three sons, Seneca (Nakia) Littlejohn, Adrian Littlejohn and Calvin Buchanan all of High Point, NC; fifteen grandchildren; two sisters, Lydia Ann Griffin and Gloria (Perry) Humphrey of Colfax, NC; one aunt, Geneva Ruth of Connecticut; one uncle, Robert Jefferies of Gaffney, SC. She also leaves behind a host of other special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and close friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Christ Church of Deliverance, 105 Hoskins St. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
