Obituary For Mrs. Patricia Hughes Colvin

Patricia Hughes Colvin of Norway, SC, 81, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date, friends and family are welcome to come celebrate her life.

Born February 6, 1943, in Norway, SC, she was the daughter of late Leroy and Mary Hughes. She loved her dogs Charlie & Lulu, enjoyed working in her flower garden, movies, reading, painting, and spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived and greatly missed by her son Hewetson A. Free Jr. (Alex) and his wife Barbara Free of Orangeburg, SC; grandchildren Chrystal Barbee and Megan Free; great grandchildren Ethan McGrant, Isaiah Barbee and Eva Love Rorie; sister Betty Free and brothers Roy Hughes (Joyce), Carl Hughes (Janet) and Henry Hughes (Rita), and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her late husband Robert (Bob) Colvin, her son Christopher Free, her granddaughter Lauren Free, and her great-grandson Noah Barbee.
