Obituary For Elder Oscar Hudson Crawford

Elder Oscar Hudson Crawford passed on Monday August 26, 2024 at Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, Georgia. A Home Going Celebration In Loving Memory of Elder Oscar Hudson Crawford will be held on Saturday August 31, 2024 11:00 AM at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church 2050 Bethany Church Road Madison, Georgia 30650. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 5-7 P.M. at Jones and Turner Funeral Home 484 Burney Street Madison, Georgia 30650. The body will lie in repose at the church 10:00 AM until hour of Service. Family and friends please assemble at the family residence at 9:30. In lieu of flowers, the family request that all contributions be made to Springfield Missionary Baptist Church 2050 Bethany Church Road Madison, Georgia 30650.

You lived to see 98 which is far longer than a lot of ppl have gotten to live as ppl are soo young who depart this earthly life!!! With u having seen almost a hundred years on this earth and have been doin so well and in ur right mind until ur last moment was a MAJOR BLESSING within itself!!! You were : A MAN OF GOD, A FAMILY MAN, and a GENTLEMAN!!! Matter of fact, a DISTINGUISHED gentleman!!! You and ur family welcomed me with open arms not just as one of ur caregivers but as family and a loved one!!! I have learned A LOT about you!!! You were a GREAT example of how to treat women, ppl, and live in this world!!! U stayed up to date on current events and politics...you loved to watch the news, Family Feud, and ur westerns and I sat and watched it with you as well and that isn't even my cup of tea though they are all interesting to watch 😂 I will miss you as u are IRREPLACEABLE!!! You were a man among men; THE MAN!!! There is no doubt in my mind that u aren't asleep in the LORD waiting til he raises us as I KNOW heaven is your home!!! U were FORREAL about ur walk with GOD and I've never seen nor experienced that until you!!! Ur family as well as urself are a GREAT example of how family, love, and living life should be!!! You were and ALWAYS will be LOVED and TRULY MISSED because YOU MATTER and u are a SIGNIFICANT person to ppl and their lives!!! I THANK U AND UR FAMILY FOR BEING THE BLESSING THAT U HVE BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE TO ME!!!
