MR. ROBERT ALLEN (“TOTSIE”) FUQUA, SR. – AGE 77, Of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. He was born on June 30, 1947 to the late George Newson, Sr. and Mary Jane Fuqua. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad for over thirty years of service. He was a member of the Baptist Faith, graduated from Riverside High School, and he was preceded by his brother, Terry Fuqua.
Survivors are his devoted sons, Robert Allen Fuqua, Jr. of Clinton, Tennessee, Ricky Allen Fuqua of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Sean Carter of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Nycole (Johnathan Travis), DeAndrea Fuqua, Charlette (Elmickyo) Duncan of Chattanooga, TN, Robin (Michael) Lloyd of Lithonia, Georgia, Quintana (Lebron) Lackey of Nashville, TN; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren; special friend, Nancy Lofton; sisters, Sandra (Aaron) Elliott of Chattanooga, Linda Fuqua of Chattanooga; brother, Richard (Gaysha) Fuqua of Tulsa, Oklahoma; aunts, Dorothy Lockett of Huntsville, Alabama, and Lorene Smith of Queens, New York; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Celebration Of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, 4801 Highway 58, Chattanoog, TN 37416 with Pastor Dr. Ternae Jordan, Sr. as Eulogist. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
