Leon & Family Nell will be missed. Her beautiful poetry that she loved to write and her soft voice for singing. Nell wrote a beautiful poem for my mom (Dorothy Geter Scott.) Mom cherished that poem from Nell. Know that our "Love Thoughts and Prayers" are with the Family.❤️🕊️ The Scott - Geter - Kirby families

I knew Ms. Nell and her husband since I was a little girl. They were so nice and always seemed like a happy couple. Ms. Nell always had a smile on her face. I am sad she has left us but I know she is in a better place looking over her loved ones. Don't crown him (Jesus) Ms. Nell until his children all get there. Tammy

To Leon and sons, Nell's sister's, shocked and saddened to learn of her transition. We have been friends since 1969. Spent plenty of time with her and Leon, especially when they lived on Dunlap Street, and Cherry Street. Also at Mrs. Jessie's house in East Martinsville. Nell lived a good life and she was always with Leon. So family you have some fond memories as well as I. Rest on Nell Burnette Martin. You are in God's hands.
