Judy A. Palmer

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Judy A. Palmer, who passed away on August 22nd 2024 at the age of 77.

Born on September 7th, 1946, in Miami FL. She was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband Gene Palmer, and a devoted mother to her children Jerry, Joyce, Jody & Craig.

Judy lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and her homemade dishes were always the highlight of family gatherings. Judy was a Restaurateur who owned/operated Judy’s Kountry Kitchen successfully for many years. She also had a green thumb and loved tending to her garden. She also enjoyed her TV shows and throughout her lifetime had a deep love for her pets. Judy was strong in her faith and was a firm believer that Jesus Christ was her Savior.

Judy was a kind and generous soul...Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her infectious smile and warm personality.

She is survived by her children Jerry, Joyce, Jody, Craig, and her nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.

A private Memorial service will be held for family and close friends at 1PM on Friday August 30th at Crestwood Nursing Home in Valdosta, GA. Flowers can be sent to BTW Funeral Services, 1108 E. Screven Street, Quitman, Georgia 31643.
