Obituary For Job Weathers

Mr. Job S. Weathers was born April 13, 1961, to the late Mr. William Charles and Ann Lawrence Weathers of Memphis, Tennessee.

Mr. Job Weathers accepted Christ at an early age where he became a member of Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church under the leadership of Rev. Blair T. Hunt.

He was a 1979 graduate of White Station High School.

Job retired from Gridley’s Fine Bar-B-Q as Head Pit Master where he enjoyed cooking at his best. He then decided to become a food truck vendor for Yancy’s Bar-B-Q.

Mr. Job S. Weathers leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life: his fiancé, Wilma D. Fields of Memphis, Tennessee; children, Daniel Patterson, Samantha Weathers, Job Weathers, Jr., and Santino Angelo Weathers, all of Memphis, Tennessee; siblings, Billie Jean Ballintine of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Walter L. Hall (Gloria Hall), Letitia L. Gatewood and Dilworth A. Weathers of Memphis, Tennessee; three grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 24, 2024 for a Celebration of Life at 2:00pm held at RS Lewis & Sons 3651 Austin Peay Hwy, Memphis, TN 38128
