Obituary For Rowena Williams Smith

Funeral service for Rowena Smith, 60, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Willie Ford will officiate.

Mrs. Smith, who passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, was born September 17, 1963, in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Monday, August 19, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: husband, Ervin Smith of Opelika, AL; a daughter, Shauna (Kevin) Stone of Lanett, AL; mother, Willie Pearl Philpot Dinkins of Beauregard, AL; eleven grandchildren, Kevon Smith, Kevin Stone, Jr., Keyaria Stone, Taliyah Stone, Kyanesha Stone, Kaiden Stone, Kemari Stone, Innocence Stone, Xzayvion Hughley, Janiyah Brown and Jaziyah Brown; three great-grandchildren, Harmony Smith, Kade Smith and Journey Smith; five sisters, Barbara Ann Rowell of Opelika, AL, Beatrice Williams Johnson of Panama City, FL, Debra Ann Williams of Eufaula, AL, Susie Ann Willaims (Eric) Mills of Jacksonville, FL and Tammy Williams of Dothan, AL; two brothers, Eddie Williams, Jr. and Edward Williams both of Opelika, AL; two sisters-in-law, Mary (Joseph) Watt of Waverly, AL and Mary (Tommy) Thomas of Loachapoka, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Good evening I didnt know her personally but though my sister they attended church and bible study together from what I've heard she was a sweet and beautiful person to all that meet her, I just want to send my condolences to the family and pray god will mead your heart of your lost and know though god all things are possible so it is written and may she rest in peace praying for strength at this difficult time.The Williams Family
