Warren Lee Robinson, Sr., 80, of Richmond, departed this life August 12, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Robinson. Surviving are two sons, Waren Lee Akande', II (Trudy), and Michael Hughes; one daughter, Ashanti Leechelle Chavis (Justin D. Sr.); grandchildren, Jamaica Tevoy Akande', Jade De'Von Patterson, Shelton Brianna Akande', Frankie Simone Akande', Waren Lee Akande', III, Justin David Chavis, Jr., Emma Elizabeth Chavis, Michelle Thornton, Jessica Hughes, Michael Evans, Mekai Williams, Michelle Crew; a host of great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Samuels and Verna Roberson (Edward); one brother, James Robinson; a host of nieces and nephews, one devoted niece, Joyce Knight, one devoted nephew, Gregory Robinson, and a compassionate niece, Michelle Stewart; five sisters-in-law, Marie Robinson, Wanda Irby, Madeline Sparks, Joan Peck and Edna Torain; other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 22, at Triumphant Baptist Church, 2003 Lamb Ave. Apostle Michael Bennett, officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
