Tammie L Jackson received the precious gift of life on May 12, 1977, in Jackson County, Florida, to Jennifer L. Reed and Bernard Jackson. At a young age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined Saint Rose A.M.E. Church in Grand Ridge, Florida.

She was educated in the public schools of Jackson County. On August 12, 2024, God peacefully called Tammie from this earthly walk of life at Jackson Hospital.

As she made this transition, she was surrounded by loves ones. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Mary E. Reed of Grand Ridge Florida, and Pocahontas Jackson of Chattahoochee, Florida; uncle, John T. Reed of Grand Ridge, Florida; and cousin, Paco Reed of Grand Ridge, Florida.

Tammie leaves a lifetime of love and precious memories with: parents, Jennifer L. Reed of Marianna, Florida, and Bernard (Carolyn) Jackson of Campbellton, Florida; dear friend, Kenneth Godfrey of Sneads Florida; son, Cedrick D. Smith Jr., of Atlanta, Georgia; grandfather, JT Reed of Grand Ridge, Florida; seven sisters, Stacy Reed, Kaydriana Williams (Kyle Lackey), Shannon Jackson, Ayisa Jackson, Kimberly Jackson, Precious Jackson, and Pocahontas Jackson; two brothers, Mitchell Jackson, and Corey Jackson; godparents, Wayne and Peggie Aldridge; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear and close friends that she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Sunset Memory Gardens located in Grand Ridge, FL at St. Rose AME Church. Interment will follow with the caring staff of Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna, FL directing.

Viewing will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Peoples Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
