Jessie March, while surrounded by her family, passed away on August 7, 2024. Jessie was born to Walter and Dorothy Turner of West, MS, on October 20, 1961. Jessie received her diploma from Durant Attendance, and she attended Alcorn State University.
In 2003, Jessie married Washington “Nick” March, blending their family of 9 children. They owned and operated North 51 Service Station in Durant, MS.
Jessie had a true heart for family and loved bringing everyone together for events where she could sit back and watch her family enjoy each other.
Jessie joins in heaven her parents and 10 siblings: Felix, Mae, James, Ray, Walter, JR., Peggy, Nellie, Edward and Felicia. She is survived by her 2 children: Jessica and James (Johnice); her 2 grandchildren: Zachery and John; 8 siblings: Mildred (LaGrace), Howard (Jeannie), Joe (Josephine), Sheldon (Lessie), Viola (Rayborn), Marcus (Latonya), Barrett (Teresa) and Miranda. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
