Obituary For Mrs. Ruby Frances "Cookie" Robinson

Ruby Frances “Cookie” Robinson of Osceola, Arkansas was born on September 10, 1966, in Memphis, Tennessee to Tyree McCullon and Lizzie Jones. “Cookie” as she was affectionally known, was a faithful and devoted member of Bethlehem Temple Church of God in Christ in Blytheville, Arkansas under the leadership of Bishop R.L. Jones, where she served as a Trustee of the Church. She was a loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She spent many hours working and helping others. “Cookie” was employed by the Mississippi Count Senior Center, where she worked as a van driver and office support staff. Her beautiful smile and warm spirit will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Theodis Bowman and Otis Jones, one sister, Delois Jones, and a daughter in law, Deliscia “Dee Dee” Mathis. “Cookie” passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 57.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Robinson of the home, two sons, Antoine Mathis of Jonesboro, AR, and Alfred (Quameka) Mathis also of Jonesboro, AR, two daughters, Makisha Haskins of Jonesboro and Danielle Haskins of Jonesboro, AR, one brother, Bishop R.L. Jones of Blytheville, AR, seventeen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm at Nehemiah Temple Church of God in Christ 121 West McHaney Drive, Blytheville, AR, where Elder Richard McNear is the pastor.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm Bishop R.L. Jones will deliver the eulogy with interment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
