Obituary For Donato Bradford II

Donato Lyndell Bradford II (DJ) was born, July 11,2000 to Donato Bradford and Kila Williams in Sierra Vista, AZ. DJ relocated to Augusta, Ga at the age of two where he grew up.

At the age of 12 Dj became a member of the Augusta Boxing Club where he was given the name “Sausage Dog,” because of his long frame. This would become DJ’s second family as he traveled to different states for competitions and tournaments. His dedication to boxing led him to join a cross fit gym as to become a stronger boxer; he would go to boxing daily and continue his training by attending workouts at cross fit. DJ loved to flex his muscles and walk around with no shirt on. While dedicated to boxing, DJ also desired to get serious about his music as that was his true passion.

DJ graduated from Cross Creek High School, where he was member of the high school band. He played the trumpet and went on to become a member of the drum line. His love for music and becoming a performer was his driving force; from playing various instruments to creating beats on the kitchen table and rapping alongside his brother Jovez. DJ would go to the studio every chance he got; he put out numerous albums and videos. No matter where he went, he would find a studio to go do his music. His love for music and his desire to learn everything about music led him to SAE Institute of Atlanta. While studying at the SAE institute, DJ’s focus was music production and the intricate parts of Music all of which he excelled at.

Dj was a giving, loving, and generous person. He loved children especially his nieces and nephews. Whenever they saw him, they would run up to him so that he could play with them and throw them around. DJ would stop whatever he was doing to ensure they had fun and if they were ever sad or having a hard day, he would ensure to comfort them and cheer them up. While DJ may have been grown, he genuinely enjoyed watching cartoons. DJ was full of love and laughter and wanted to share that with any and everybody and truly brought life and brightness into every room that he walked into.

DJ leaves to cherish his memories: His mother Kila Williams; His father Donato Bradford I and Tameka Bradford. Siblings Tammara (Tammy), Renee, Jenae, Jovez, and Jaelyn. Two nieces Kailah and Keniyah, six nephews: Kewan (KJ), Christian, Denali, Delarian, Denver, and Reason. One great niece- Kaiyani, his uncle Damien and Great-Uncles Bruce (Valerie) and Reggie, and a host of cousins and extended family to include his boxing family and numerous friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at First Baptist of Keysville, 3948 Deans Bridge Road, Hephzibah, GA. Interment, Westover Memorial Park. Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858

If Tomorrow Starts Without Me If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say. I know how much you care for me, and how much I care for you, and each time that you think of me I know you'll miss me too; But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready in heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, for all life, I'd always thought I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for and so much yet to do. it seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you. I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, I thought, just for a while, I'd say goodbye and hug you and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized that this could never be, for emptiness and memories would take the place of me. And when I thought of worldly things that I'd miss come tomorrow. I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow. But when I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me, from His great golden throne, He said, "This is eternity and all I've promised you, Today your life on earth is past but here it's starts anew. I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last. and since each day's the same, there's no longing for the past. But you have been so faithful, so trusting, so true. Though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn't do. And you have been forgiven and now at last you're free. So won't you come and take my hand and share my life with me?" So if tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, please know I'm in your heart.
