Obituary For Belinda Ann Tutt

Belinda was born on July 21,1967, in Athens GA. Her parents are Nellie Mae Smith and the late Will Henry Mayweather Dorsey. During the morning of Monday, August 5, 2024, Lynn was called home to be with the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur Tutt, Sr., a daughter, Irene Smith, and a brother Minister Larry Smith.

Belinda loved life, family, and close friends. She had a gift for making others laugh uncontrollably with her stories about her family and friends. She earned a Certified Nursing Assistance degree many years ago and was a devoted caregiver to many in the family and the community. Her hobbies were cooking and bargain hunting.

Belinda is survived by her sons: Marty Smith, Arthur Tutt, Jr., and Markeith Laguines, daughter, Latifeah Ferrell. Additionally, she is survived by eight grandchildren: Xavain Smith, Aniya Byerly, Cameron Byerly, Maniyah Valentine, Alyssa McGee, Zay’Den Bonds , Madilynn Byerly, My’aira Laguines, Mariah Laguines and River Mauldin, as well as her mother, Nellie Smith, brothers: Barry (Sherry) Smith, Chuck (Valerie) Dorsey, and raised in the home Jonathan Woods, brother-in-law, Rufus Tutt, Jr, sisters-in-law, Victoria Smith, Barbra Geter, Patricia (Henry) Tutt, Farria (Trell) Tutt and a special nephew Willie Ed Smith. Belinda also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will cherish her memories.

Public visitation is Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at Barrett Funeral Home Oglethorpe, 1064 Athens Road, Crawford, GA 30630.

Professional services have been entrusted to Barrett Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel, Crawford.
