Mr. Vashon Derell Moore was born on July 13, 1985, to the late Mrs. Mary Moore and Mr. Walter Johnson in Leesville, LA. He attended public school in the Thomaston-Upson County School System.

When he reached manhood, he found employment at Sonic. He loved his job and worked his way up to being a manager before its closing. He spent thirteen years at Sonic.

Vashon loved playing video games, dancing and having fun with his family and friends. He was spoiled by the ones that he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister, Tiffany Moore. On his birthday, July 13, 2024, the Lord called his name. He answered the call and his spirit took flight and returned to the father. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his father, Mr. Walter Johnson (Nancy) of Forsyth, GA; one sister, Ms. Nicole Moore of Columbus, GA; four brothers, Mr. Marion (Camilla) Moore, Mr. Omar Johnson and Mr. Waltez (Caresma) Moore all of Thomaston, GA,

Mr. Christopher Johnson of West Point, GA, and Mr. Lewis (Lacy) Smith of Louisiana; one cousin who was more like a sister, Ms. Bettina Moore of Columbus, GA; a devoted friend Ms. Laura of Thomaston, GA, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
