Larry D. Collier was born in Sarasota, Florida to the late Stephanie Collier on March 17, 1970. He attend elementary, middle, and Sarasota High. He began his career in Sarasota and later transferred to Atlanta, Georgia where he was promoted to regional manager in the convenience store industry. He served in this line of work for over 30 years.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Catherine Collier and Ruby Moreland; his grandfathers, Albert Collier; his uncles, Ansel Acosta.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his father, Larry Moreland of Tallahassee, FL; one brother, Alexis Moreland (Jasmine) of Tallahassee, FL; grandmother, Frankie Lee Collier of Sarasota, FL; aunts, Gladys Campbell of Tampa, FL, Annette Collier and Jogina Jones (Carlos) of Sarasota, FL, Linda Clark (Sam) of Fort Walton Beach, FL; uncles, Stacey Collier (Doris) and Michael Suarez (Lavendar) of Sarasota, FL; cousins, Yasmin Carnegie (Nicole) of Sarasota, FL, Chennel Broom (Charles) of Atlanta, GA, Christopher Mayes of Sarasota, FL, Stacey Collier of Sarasota, FL, Shaquira Collier of Riverview, FL, JaQuell Carnegie, Janiyah Broom, Isaiah Broom, Daniel Broom, Charles Broom Jr., Chy’Nisty Mayes, Jaycean Maxwell, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He leaves behind the friends closest to his heart, Vincent Nealy, David Daniels, and Kenny Waters.
Three babies he held nearest and dearest to his heart and soul; Kingston Wilder, Ezekiel Wilder, Linda Wilder will forever be this bonus babies!
He leaves behind two very special friends, Cressida Turner and Ashley Dinyes.
Memorial services will be held 11:00am on Fri., Aug. 2, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home.
My Prayers go out to Larry's Family, I pray for comfort from God to help ease your loss. Larry was Like a brother to me. My children called him Uncle Larry!
