It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Hannah Cofield
On behalf of the staff and management of Strong & Jones Funeral Home, Inc., we would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Hannah Cofield.
Hannah was educated at the original Old Lincoln High School, later attending and completing her trade at Lively Vocational Technical School. She was passionate about never giving up the chance to learn something new and to always be willing to give back to society. Hannah enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, working hidden puzzles and shopping to meet the needs of others.
She worked in various positions, but the one most dear to her heart was her position working with Special Needs Clients at Sunland State Hospital. Ending her career, Hannah retired from the State Department of Education Grant Management.
Hannah will be forever missed by her three daughters Vanessa Tillman (Samuel) Sandra Baker, Jan Payne and loving god-daughter Monique Ewell. grandsons Samuel III, Alan, grand-daughters Ariel, Shalonda (Esq.) great grandsons Quentin, Jalen, and Chase, great grand=daughters Michaela, Janecia, McKenzie, Nariah. brother Charles Thompson; Orlando, Fl and Sister Tamer Thompson; brother-in-law Freddie Cofield, Sister-in-laws Willie Mae Fedd, Lillie Mae Dixon, Beatrice McNeffer and Freddie Mae Cofield all of Tallahassee and countless hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends including Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church family where she was always welcomed with love.O
Funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday August 03, 2024 at St. Mary P.B. Church.
