Obituary For Donnie Jones Sr.

Donnie Jones Sr.,78, of New Bern, NC died Saturday July 20, 2024 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 5, 2024, at West Street Christian Church, 721 West Street, New Bern, NC.

He is survived by his fiancee, Donna Ikupa; six sons, Mickey Jones, Omar Allen, Kamal Allen, Jerome Godley,Christopher Edwards and Nicholas Jones; five daughters, Sharon Jenkins, Callie Johnson, Akeda Jones, Verrhonda Johnson, Devon Johnson; one sister, Fay Jones Crutchfield; brother, Rodney Jones and a host of grandchildren and great grands.

He and I use to keep friends and families awake at night singing under the Rain Shelter in the Big Field in Craven Terrace!😊 Don and I got to spend the 4th-6th of July 24 together laughing and talking about old times.
