Brenda Joyce Miree, a beloved pillar of our community, church, and family, has peacefully passed away.

Her life was a testament to her unwavering dedication, touching countless lives with compassion and grace.

Known for her boundless spirit of service, as a Wake County Public School Teacher, she tirelessly supported numerous community initiatives and organizations, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her steadfastness was a guiding light, inspiring others through her commitment to education, church, community, and Family.

Above all, Brenda cherished her family with a love that knew no bounds. She was a devoted spouse, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend whose kindness knew no limits.

In honoring her memory, let us remember the profound impact she had on our lives and the legacy of compassion and generosity she leaves behind. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her spirit will forever remain in our hearts. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 52 years, Arthur Miree, of the Home; two daughters, Mrs. Rolanda(Kelvin) Scott of Fuquay Varina, NC, and Ms. Brandalyn Miree of Garner, NC; one grandson, Devon Miree-Walker of Bunnlevel, NC, two granddaughters, Ms. Jasana Miree of Garner, NC, and Ms. Arianna Scott of Fuquay Varina, NC, two great grandkids, (Master Karter Jones, and Miss. Devaina Miree-Walker) both of Bunnlevel, NC three sisters, Gwen Boneparte of Orangeburg, SC, Barbara Oakman of Chester, SC, and Ann Patterson of Mt. Vernon, NY, along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Public viewing: 1:00 - 5:00 pm Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Visitation: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Friday, July 26, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Apex, NC 27502.

Funeral will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2617 Mt. Zion Church Road in Apex, NC 27502.

Brenda loved family and always such a sweet loving person. My first memory of Brenda was at Aunt Rethea Mae's in Lumberton. We laugh and she would say I could be her daughter because Rolanda and I looked so much alike. Brenda your kindness and love of family will be missed.
