Obituary For Mr. Kenneth B. Wayne

Kenneth B. Wayne passed away on 7/16/24 in Dillon, South Carolina. Kenny was born on April 30th, 1962 in Queens, NY. Kenny was the son of Benjamin and Violet Wayne, and the step-son of Estelle Jablow - Wayne.

Kenny was a restaurateur in the Hudson Valley in New York for many years. He was well known for his German food while working at the Cornerstone Restaurant in Fishkill, NY, where he first met his wife Cynthia, and they later owned KayCey’s Restaurant in Hyde Park, NY.

Kenny had a heart of gold, and was a man of many talents, especially his culinary expertise in the kitchen. His chicken parm, wiener schnitzel and prime rib were his signature dishes! Kenny had a love for aviation and had his pilot's license. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing pool, and always had a soft spot for dogs. Kenny loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Kenny joins his father Benjamin, mother Violet, beloved step-mother Estelle, and daughter Elizabeth Allen in Heaven.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife Cynthia, his sisters Julie Quinton, Carolyn Wayne,

Elizabeth Fell, and one brother Richard Katz, in addition to his children Janet Rice, Alyssa Keller, Maggie Keller, and Dylan Calcagni, along with several nieces, nephews, and eight grandchildren.

Kenny had a huge heart, touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held at a later date.
