Obituary For Janice Lenette Kirk Turner

Jackie was the fourth child among eight siblings born to John and Earlene Kirk. Known for her vibrant energy and positive spirit, she was preceded in death by her father, John Kirk; mother, Earlene “Mamo” Kirk, and brothers, John and Clinton Kirk.

She is survived by her husband, Levy C. Turner; her children, Johnathan P. Gray and J. Patrice (Kenneth) Marbry, her grandchildren Kenneth III, and Amariyah, and the love of her life, Kellan; siblings, Louise Ransaw, Lucille Heard, Carolyn Hoyt, Regenia (Joseph) Johnson, and Antionette Flambo, along with two cherished “chosen” sisters, Mary Rowe and Katherine “Tap” Hood. Her marriage to Levy C. Turner in 2001 blessed her with bonus children Linda (Geary) Davis, Michael (Cynthia) Turner, Beverly Turner, and Anthony (Evette) Turner all of whom she embraced with boundless love.

Jackie will also be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who affectionately called her “Aunt Jackie” and appreciated her presence (with her camera) during every significant moment of their lives, big and small. Her profound love for family was a guiding force in her life, evident in her wholehearted dedication to each and every member of her extended family.

Please remember the family in your prayers during their time of bereavement.
