Mrs. Eunice Williams Jenkins transitioned peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Magnolia Garden of Thomasville. Eunice was born on April 7, 1944, in Dillion, South Carolina to the late Dixie and Elizabeth Williams. She was also preceded in death by five siblings: Henry, Jr. Williams, Roger Williams, Richard Williams, Howard Williams, Libby Williams.
Eunice retired as a sewer from Superior Foam. Many people knew “Eunice” for always having a caring and loving heart. She loved to cook and always had an open kitchen. She loved feeding everyone her good soul food cooking. She looked forward to spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and family.
Eunice was a faithful member of Living Water Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher board until her health declined.
She leaves to cherish with loving fond memories her husband, John Jenkins; one daughter, Mary Maxine (Tony) Hayes; two sons, Roger Wayne (Tamika) Williams and Johnny Ray Jenkins; nephew she raised as her own, Munir Muhammad; sisters, Hazel Williams, Bernice Townsend and Pearline Townsend; eight grandchildren, Monet (Kevin) Marion, Desiree Jenkins, Ne’Vaeh Williams, Brittani Harris, Sidney (Jasmine) Hayes, Anthony (Tamara) Hayes Jr, Dre Paul Bennett, Juanterious Poole; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other relatives and friends; a very special long-time devoted friend, Lisa Bennett.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Living Water Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Piedmont Memorial Park. Winston Salem, NC. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
