Mr. Cecil was truly 'the salt of the earth'. I had the pleasure of his friendship for over 20 years. I have never met a kinder gentleman; he was so generous and hard working. The first time I met him was about a month after Katrina. My wife's SUV broke down, and I could not get it out of the intersection. Mr. Cecil rushed to my aid. That is the kind of man he was.
