Obituary For Mary Carnelia Hardy

Mary Carnelia Sanders Hardy,71, a native of Pollocksville, North Carolina passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 at Central Carolina Hospital of Sanford, NC.

Viewing Friday, July 19th from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Oscar’s Mortuary. Viewing 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20th at First Missionary Baptist Church.

Homegoing services are scheduled at Noon on Saturday, July 20th at First Missionary Baptist Church 561 Springhill Rd., Belgrade, NC. Interment services will follow at the Williams Family Cemetery Claude Banks Rd., Trenton,NC.

She is survived by her three daughters; Latoria (Tori) Potts of Charlotte, NC, LaShaunda Rice of Columbia, SC, and Carynne Williams of Durham, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren (Cameron, Amari, Kaiden, Tyler, Carmen, Avery, Maximus, and Candace) who were her pride and joy and two beloved sisters Georgette Mack of Knightdale, NC and Cecelia Beckford of Orlando, FL.

Mary was such a precious friend to Our Mom (Phyllis)at Sanford Memory Care. They were inseparable. We always shared "I love yous" when we came to visit Our Mom. Mary touched Our lives everyday. We will miss her beautiful smile and all the loved she showed Our Mom.

I am deeply sadden to learn of Mary's passing. Words can not adequately express my sorry. However, I know God never makes a mistake. To the family, I extend my love, prayers and condolences.
