Obituary For Mr. Claudie K. Mayfield

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I kept the faith.

Mr. Claudie K. Mayfield, age 80, of Maryland (formally Warren County) departed this life on Monday, July 1, 2024, in Rockville, Maryland.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, 1:00PM at Boyd & Royster funeral Services 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton, NC. Interment will follow at Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.

His memories will be cherished by his wife of 31 years Julia Plummer Mayfield; son Tony Mayfield of North Carolina; Stepchildren Troy Chafe, Anthony Anderson, and De'Wayne Anderson of Maryland; Several grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters Virginia Mayfield Lockley (Forrest) of Abingdon, Maryland; Selma Mayfield Palmer of Warrenton, North Carolina; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates and friends. A special friend growing up together William H. Tunstall.

There will be no public viewing.

My sincere condolences to the Mayfield family very sorry to hear of your loss. Mostly, also because Claudie was a classmate who graduated with me May 1962.
