Obituary For Clara Mae Thomas

The funeral services for the late Mrs. Clara Mae Crockett Thomas, who departed this life on Sunday, July 14, 2024, will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia. Brother Raymond Canterbury will give the Discourse.

Clara Mae Thomas was born on August 20, 1948 in Ashburn, Georgia to the late Mr. Otis Crocket and the late Katie Lou Wilcher.

Clara resided in Ashburn, Georgia her entire lifetime. She attended school in the Turner County Public School System and graduated from Eureka High School.

Clara acknowledged her faith in 1979 and became a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahโ€™s Witnesses. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

Clara Thomas worked for the Turner County Sheriffโ€™s Department for fourteen years, attaining the rank of Sergeant, until her retirement.

On Sunday, July 14, 2024, Clara Mae Thomas finished her earthly journey in life and entered into her peaceful rest. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Kelvin Davis, one great granddaughter, Kamari Davis, four brothers and four sisters.

Clara leaves to cherish her memories her two children, Veronica Crockett, Enrico Crockett, Sr.; ten grandchildren, Kelvin (Qydasha) Crockett, Howard Jordan, Karyssa Coston, Kelsea Davis, Jhakeera (Antonio) Clark, Deontae Crockett, Deon King, Amia Crockett, Enrico Crockett, Jr., Arianna Crockett; eighteen great grandchildren; two siblings, Mildred (Eddie) Jones, Monroe (Rose) Crockett; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
