Obituary For Ruthie Peterson Green

Mrs. Ruthie Peterson Green, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, Florida.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church located at 2870 Barnes Street in Marianna, Florida 32448 where the Reverend Gregory E. Gathers is the pastor.

Interment will be in the Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Greenwood, Florida.

Mrs. Green will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Daughters: Melissa Green and Portia Green both of Marianna, Florida

One Grandson: Trevarus Freeman of Marianna, Florida

One Great-Granddaughter: Kenslei Clemmons

Mother-in-Law: Gertrude Green of Upper Marlboro, Maryland

One Sister-in-Law: Mariel Yvonne Shack of Upper Marlboro, Maryland

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
