Joseph “Joe” Warren Allen

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024. Family viewing will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Viewing for family and friends will occur from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a short celebratory service from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa 33605 with Pastor Brenda Johnson, presiding.

Joseph “Joe” Warren Allen was born to the late Mrs. Gwendolyn Louise Allen and the late Mr. Joseph Mc Cray on January 20, 1961 in Tampa, FL. He was a lifelong resident of the Ybor City Community, where he was well known for his appreciation of beautiful floor coverings. He was an expert carpenter, and wood and carpet installer. Joe exhibited experience and excellence when it came to the professional way he represented the carpet industry for more than forty years. Joe was also an avid fisherman, and he could often be seen interacting with the environment and engaging with the beauty of nature.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents as well as his grandmother, Elouise Allen; great aunt, Estelle Avery; aunts, Linda Thomas, Darlene Thomas; uncles, Bernard Allen, Hosea Allen, and Harold Williams. He leaves loving memories with his brothers, Hal Trent Allen (Barbara), Michael Eugene Hamilton (Tirhonda); loving aunts, Sandra Allen, Dorothy Allen of Miami, FL; a special cousin, Herbertha Williams; and a host of other cousins and relatives. He also leaves to mourn his passing, several friends, Patrick Bellamy, Chris Logan, Alvin Williams, Pastor Charles Davis and Michael Howard. Joe will be greatly missed.
