Obituary For Erma Jean Smith Fambro

Life's race well run. Life's work well done. Life's crown well won. Now she takes her rest. On Thursday, June 27, 2024, God in His infinite wisdom and divine love, called our beloved Mother home.

Erma Jean Smith Fambro was born April 16, 1937, in Barnesville, GA. to the late Mrs. Eva Mae Brown Smith and Mr. Pete Smith. She graduated from Barnesville Industrial High School. Erma would later work for the Lamar County school system, of which she would retire after thirty-three years of devoted service on September 12, 2005.

“Sister Brown,” as she was affectionately known, loved spending time with her family. She adored her children and grandchildren. It was such a joy to her heart to travel and be on the front row to support her great-granddaughter, Brooklyn, at her Beauty Pageants in the southeastern states. She loved shopping with her baby sister, Charlene, and loved herself some Pepsi Cola. She enjoyed watching Family Feud, decorating , and cooking in her spare time.

She surely lived life well done. Her generosity overflowed to everyone around her. She was loving, kind, and a friend to all that knew her. She was loving, kind, and a friend to all that knew her.
