Obituary For Mrs. Darlene Woodson Tucker

Darlene Woodson Tucker was born April 16, 1961, in Osceola, Arkansas the daughter of Roosevelt Woodson and Mary Ruff Woodson. Darlene was a graduate of the Arkansas School of the Deaf in Little Rock, Arkansas and former employee of Walmart. Darlene had a sweet personality and a loving spirit that enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, playing video games, and fishing. She attended First Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father Roosevelt Woodson. On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Darlene transitioned from her earthly home into the arms of the Lord at the age of 63 at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She leaves to cherish her love and the memories, her husband, Eli Tucker, Sr. of the home, her mother Mrs. Mary Woodson of Blytheville, Arkansas; one son and daughter in law, Eli and Garica Ramsey-Tucker, Jr. of Osceola, Arkansas; one daughter and son in law, Jennica and Garrick Jackson of Jonesboro Arkansas; nine brothers, Gregory (Ella) Ruff of Kansas City, Missouri; Ronald Woodson of Atlanta, Georgia; Russell Woodson of Augusta, Georgia; Julian (Tara) Woodson of Gosnell, Arkansas; Marlon Woodson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Anthony Woodson of Osceola, Arkansas; Ervin (Elaine) Woodson of Benton, Arkansas; Brian (Jasmine) Woodson of Southhaven, Mississippi; Courtney (Shalonda) Woodson of Marion, Arkansas; four sisters, Beverly (Greg) Robinson of Blytheville, Arkansas; Caretta (Warren) Barbee of Marion, Arkansas; Holly Woodson of Collinsville, Oklahoma; and Omaesha Dixon of Osceola, Arkansas; eight grandchildren many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 1:00 until service time at 2:00 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 East McHaney Street, Blytheville where Reverend Odale Jones is the pastor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend Odale Jones will deliver the eulogy with interment to follow in Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.

We were raised at FMBC with the Woodson Family(1st Missionary Baptist) Ms. Darlene was always sweet & smiling and would teach us sign language greetings during Vacation Bible School,when were teenagers,such a sweet spirit!!
