Sidney Leroy Harris, 53, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, 121 S. Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 with Reverend Leonard Johnson, officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

Service will be Livestream via Hunter-Odom Funeral Service website

Uncle Sidney, I will love you and will keep you in my heart forever! I am going to miss your messenger calls and asking you to repeat yourself a few times lol but I loved spending time with you on those videos calls. I'm sad I never made it to see you in North Carolina but I know you felt my love and I felt yours. I will forever be grateful that I had you to call uncle. I am missing you deeply but find peace in knowing you are at rest and with our Lord and Savior. I don't know another person in the world with a heart as loving as yours, God always calls the good ones home early. May the angels receive you and God find favor in your good works.
