April Lasha Patterson -Ochoa age 61, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024 at her mother’s
home. She was born on March 26,1963 in St. Petersburg, FL and moved to Okeechobee, Florida
approximately 20 years ago.
April was a beloved resident of Okeechobeeee, FL, where she touched the lives of many with
her kindness and warmth.
April pursued her passion in Retail and cosmetology.
She married her beloved husband, Eloy Ochoa March 24, 2017. Together, they embarked on a
journey filled with love and shared dreams.
April found joy in simple pleasures. She delighted in cooking delicious meals for her husband
and family, ensuring that every gathering was filled with warmth and laughter.
Apri[ loved traveling and her dog Kelo.
Her impeccable sense of style and love for dressing elegantly reflected her vibrant spirit, always
shining brightly in every room she entered.
April’s heart overflowed with love and devotion for her family and friends.
Above all, April’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She exemplified kindness, compassion,
and unwavering faith, leaving a legacy of love and light for all who knew her.
April is survived by her devoted husband, Eloy Ochoa; her loving son, Mequell Smith, Demetri
Smith,( grandson,) Lola Smith,(greatgrand), her Sister Crystal Christie (Gary Christie), Nephew,
Givenchy Royal (Ashley and Phenix Royal ) Mother Shirlean Graham-Stevens (Manford R,
Stevens , Step-father} , Sister Kawana Mitchell (deceased) Nephew Halston Patterson
,(deceased) as well as numerous cousins, and extended family members.
April's life touched countless hearts, and her memory will forever be cherished by all who had
the privilege of knowing her.
May she rest in eternal peace, adorned with a crown of glory, as she rejoices in the presence of
her heavenly Father.
