Obituary For Ruby Nell Copeland

Ruby Nell Copeland was born on May 28, 1946 to the late Joe and Ethel Manning. She went on to receive her education through Brook County School System. She later married Walter Copeland, Jr. and to this union four children were born. Ruby was a hard worker , who retired after twenty years of service from South Georgia Medical Center.

Sister Copeland loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three sisters: Janet, Roberta, and Sarah; eight brothers: Willie B., C. B., Norman, Calvin, Joe, George, Ulysee, and Aaron; one daughter Barbara Copeland

She leaves to cherish her memories: her four children: Kenneth, Keith, Tara, and Latoya; four grandchildren: Willie, Jasmine, Tiffany, and Kristina; six great-grandchildren: Mycah, Trinity, Jaimie, Willie IV, Freddie, and Curtis; one brother Ermon (Dorothy); five sisters-in-law: Maxine, Debra, Stacey, Lynn, and Iris; seven brothers-in-law: Edward (Kim) Wiford, Marvin, James, Larry, Norman, William Best, and Charlie; and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.

She touched a lot of lives and was loved by many. Her memorable saying was “You got to look up don’t look down.”

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6, at 11:00 A. M. at Our Daily Bread Ministries Rev. Aden Fluker is the pastor and Rev. Cameron Williams will officiate. The burial will follow in the Spell Cemetery in Brooks County.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, July 5 from 1:00 P. M.til 4:00 P. M. at Evergreen Baptist Church 1501 Kingdom Street.
