Stanley Burns passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at The Waters of Cheatham Nursing Center in Ashland, Tennessee at the age of 77. He was born on March 31, 1947 in Williamson County, Tennessee to the parents of Elizabeth Brown Burns and Luke Burns.

Stanley Burns leaves to cherish his memories, his sons, Lonnie Burns and Kevin Burns; daughter, Sylvia Burns; grandchildren, Alexis , Anthony, Kayla, Kayden, Kaiona, Travez, and Karlecia; sisters, Mary (Eugene) Leach, Norma Cannon, Rose (LeRoy) Nevils, Bernice (George) Sanford and Betty Burns; brothers, William (Beatrice) Burns and Michael Burns; sister-in-laws, Sadie Forest, Willie Mai Hardmon; brother-in-laws, Leroy, Michael, Howard and Harry Walker; aunts, devoted nephews, Jeffrey Patton, Vermaine Burns and Lamont Whitsey; nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.

Mr. Burns will lie in state on Wednesday July 10 , 2024 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 10 until 11 at Green Street Church of God, 915 Green Street Franklin, Tennessee with funeral to follow. Elder Larry Pinkerton, officiating and Elder James Coure, eulogist.

Interment Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Pegram, Tennessee.
