Obituary For Linda Diane Cross

Linda Diane Cross “Wanky” was born April 6, 1964, to the late Dollie Mae Baynard and Virgil Peter Baynard.
She was educated in the Brooks County school system. She passed from this earthly life on June 15, 2024.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cross; brothers, Tommy Lee Baynard and Larry Baynard; sister, Dollie Jean Tippins; niece, Regina Holsendolph; and nephew, Curtis Baynard.


Mrs. Linda leaves to cherish her memory: her kids, Kimberly Baynard, Eddie Baynard, Donald Beamon, and Shantal Beamon; sisters, Lory Ann Baynard (Micheal), Delmeco Johnson, and Taketa Baynard; brothers, Virgil Baynard, Sr. (Gladys), and Willie Alfred Baynard; grandchildren, Tiashjah Childs (Markus), Tim Breashea Hollis, Nakiyah Head, Tamia McGhee, Rihanna McGhee, Khamyah Baynard, Eddie Baynard, Jr., Emari Baynard, Nyla Beamon, Jasmine Beamon, and MarQuise Beamon; great- grandchildren, Bella Hollis, Jacob Head, Kylee Boatman, Kallen Boatman, Chloe Childs, and Markus, Jr.; aunts, Betty Newsome, Roxanne Thomas, and Shirley Hollis; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.


Linda was a fun-loving person. She loved her family. She always made everyone smile wherever she went.
