James Morgan, Jr was a loving and devoted father, son, companion, uncle and friend. With no warning, he made his transition with on Tuesday morning, June 25, 2024 from labor to reward.

James was born on in Louisville, GA, Wednesday, March 24, 1976 to Lillie Mae Lodge Gilmore and the now late James Morgan, Sr.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 11:00 A.M.

James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, GA

Interment : Ebenezer Cemetery, Highway 24 West, Bartow, GA

Public Viewing will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.

James attended Wadley High School and was employed as a forklift driver at Battle Lumber Company for over ten years.

He was a very jovial, hard working person that truly loved his family and he showed it. If you didn't see him working, he was often listening to music or seeing who wanted a challenge at poker or spades.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Morgan, Sr. and his grandparents.

James will be truly missed by his children: Jamekia Morgan, Louisville, GA and Dashawn Morgan, Swainsboro, GA Jacarres Morgan, Wadley, GA; his mother and stepfather: Lillie Mae Lodge Gilmore and Leon Gilmore, Wadley, GA; his siblings: Jennifer Morgan, Shaendrell Morgan, Shirlinda Morgan, Yolanda (Ronald Pierce) Turner, Vanessa Lodge, Wadley, GA, Levelton Morgan, Statesboro, GA, Laquetion Morgan, Waynesboro, GA; his step siblings: Seneca Harmon and Stephanie Harmon, Swainsboro, GA; his significant other: Sheileria Jackson, Wadley, GA; four children that he loved as his own: NyKasia Brown, Martavious Jackson, Markese Jackson and JaKyrien Jackson, Wadley, GA; several aunts and uncles: Roosevelt (Bernestine) Lodge, III, Anna Bell Lodge, Tommy (Betty) Lodge, Sr. Queenie (Alonzo) Lodge, Rickey Lodge, Marvin Lodge, Verlon Lodge, Wadley, GA; nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers and friends.
