Obituary For Cedric T. Scott

Cedric" Cet" Scott was born on April 27, 1981 to William and Mildred Scott of Stephens, Ga. One June 23, 2024, he peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord after succumbing to complications from cancer.

Cedric attended the Oglethorpe County School System and graduated from Oglethorpe County High School in 2001. After graduating he started a career at he University of Georgia. he later transferred to work at a local agriculture farm.

In his spare time, you could find him working on equipment, taking things apart, and putting them back together. Prior to him becoming ill, you could find him on the dance floor of any occasion being the life of the party.

Cedric leaves to cherish his memories, his parents: William and Mildred Scott; brothers: William "Donnell" Scott and Anthony Scott; sister/cousin: Quintisha (Quint) Meadows; Godbrother: Wilfredo "Fredo" (Lawanda) Moses; Goddaughter: Alysses Williams-Scott; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Graveside service; Thursday, June 27,2024 at 11:00 a.m. from Athens Memory Garden, Athens, Ga. with Pastor Michael Routh, Officiating.
