Obituary For Chester Howard

Mr. Chester Howard was the son of the late Mrs. Janie Furlow Howard and the late Mr. Carlton Howard. He was born on May 10, 1959, in Barnesville, Lamar County, Georgia.

He attended Hartford High School in Connecticut. After school, he enrolled in the United States Army. After returning, he was employed by Walmart as a stocker and also was a deliverer for R.C. Cola and others. He also worked in the warehouse.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jovetta Howard; two brothers, James and Kenneth Howard and one sister, Claudette Cunningham. Chester departed this earthly life on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

He leaves to cherish his memory five beautiful children, Ms. Keish Collier, of Hartford, CT. Ms. Takeiya Howard of Thomaston, GA, Ms. Jessica Howard of Fairburn, GA, Mr. Josh Howard of Griffin, GA and Mr. Cheston Howard of Thomaston, GA; fourteen grandchildren also survived; four brothers, Mr. Carlton (Lakiethia) Howard, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Mr. Prentice Howard and Mr. Alton Howard both of Atlanta, GA, Mr. Gary (LaDonne) Howard of Loganville, GA. six sisters, Ms. Sarah Howard, Ms. Aretha Howard and Ms. Rosetta Howard all of CT, Ms. Linda Howard of FL, Ms. Marcia Howard of Lithonia, GA, Mrs. Martha (Willie) Woodard of Locust Grove, GA. Chester also leaves precious memories with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
